PLANNING COMMITTEE

Each year, neurology residents from across Canada come together to learn about headache and interact with headache specialists. This year the Course will be held in person, in conjunction with the CHS National Headache Conference, at the Westin Harbour Conference Centre in downtown Toronto.

TARGET AUDIENCE

It gives us great pleasure to extend an invitation to all Canadian neurology residents at the R2 and R3 levels (as of Oct 2024) or for R4s and R5s who have not attended the course previously.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

After attending this course, participants should be better able to:

  • Identify and diagnose primary and secondary headache disorders;

  • Describe the pathology and disease progression of migraine;

  • Formulate an approach to multimodal management of a patient with migraine;

  • Evaluate headache treatment options through the life cycle.

Registration Fee: $175 CAD

Attendees will receive two nights accommodation (shared occupancy), meals, and a complimentary one-year Canadian Headache Society membership. Travel bursaries up to $500 available for attendees travelling more than 100km one way.
